Training Details

This 40 hour training provides practical knowledge and critical skills to assist law enforcement officers who encounter people in emotional/psychiatric in their communities.  In addition to learning critical de-escalation skills, officers learn how to connect people in crisis with community-based, state-funded mental health resources instead of arrest when appropriate.   Attendees must be members of public safety or mobile crisis clinicians who work in  partnership with police in the community. Specific course details will be emailed to attendees prior to the start of training. Training runs 8:00 am-4:00 pm each day. Please contact with any questions.
